About the Role
The LLR Resilience Forumis a partnership of organisations that work together to prepare for and respond to and recover from emergencies within Leicester Leicestershire and Rutland.
Its an exciting time to join the LLR Local Resilience Forum as we expand our communications work to meet new and emerging challenges. Youll be part of a collaborative forward-thinking team helping to protect and inform communities across Leicester Leicestershire and Rutlandmaking a real difference when it matters most.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced communications professional to join our team as theLRF Communications and Engagement Officer. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the Leicester Leicestershire and Rutland Resilience Forum (LRF) by leading strategic communications and engagement activities that help keep our communities informed and prepared.
As a key member of the Warning and Informing Cell you will coordinate multi-agency campaigns manage digital channels support emergency response communications and ensure stakeholdersfrom elected representatives to volunteersare kept engaged and up to date.
Successful candidates will have access to training and development opportunities along with ongoing support to help them thrive in the role.
