Reports to: Building Principal or Principals designee
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 month staff - 184 days. Class A with benefits according to the LEA Unit D collective bargaining agreement.
37.5 hours per week. $32.40 - $40.47 per hour.
This is to cover a leave of absence for the 2025-2026 school year only.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position serves as a substitute teacher covering classrooms as needed.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Under general direction employee plans and prioritizes the majority of work independently in accordance with standard practices. Employee is expected to solve most problems of detail or unusual situations by adapting methods or interpreting instructions accordingly. Instructions for new assignments or special projects usually consist of statements of desired objectives deadlines and priorities. Technical and policy problems or changes in procedures are discussed with supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent and one to two years of experience.
Knowledge of classroom management and instruction.
Ability to communicate effectively with teachers and students.
Skill in presenting information clearly to students with different learning abilities. Ability to use technology.
