JOBSUMMARY
Substitute paraeducators work under the direction of a teacher. They provide instructional assistance to students and monitor student behavior and safety in the classroom at lunch or on the playground. Substitutes for Special Education paraeducators work with severe-to-profound special needs students and may be assigned to work with a single student or a group of students.
WORK YEAR/HOURS
Work hours will vary based on the are chosen by the substitute through our absence management system.
SALARY
$29.86 based on the ESP Salary Schedule.

BENEFITS
Substitutes become benefit eligible after subbing for 630 hours during the school year. Your coverage would go from the first of the month after reaching the 630 hoursthough 8/31. After reaching 630 hours for two school years in a row your coverage would be continuous for the following school year.
