Job Description

ECM Paralegal role - 12 months Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Hong Kong

Our client a global law firm is seeking a Paralegal to join their corporate practice in Hong Kong which assists clients on high-profile IPOs and regulatory listing rules compliance. This role will be for an initial one-year fixed term contract.

In this role you will support corporate partners and associates on corporate finance matters. Your tasks will include giving support at all stages of a listing process conducting legal research drafting and filing ancillary documents liaising with clients and third parties coordinating with other teams in the firm amongst other duties.

To succeed in this role you should have:

  • A degree in law or similar discipline with strong academic record.
  • Prior experience working for a capital markets team being involved in verification researching the listing rules laws and other regulations and drafting and filing of documents with registries and regulatory bodies.
  • Candidates with strong internship experiences with major law firms and a keen interest in IPOs listings and public company M&A and excellent academics will also be considered.
  • Exceptional communication skills a strong teamwork ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is a must.
