Location: Austin TX or remote
Full-time exempt
We are currentlyseeking an experiencedDirector Compensationto join our fun passionate and expert People Operations team. Enjoy a unique opportunity to drive Thrives compensation strategy design analysis and administration. This is a pivotal role responsible for helping shape a compelling employee experience that attracts retains and motivates our talent.
Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Partner with the HR team Operations and senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive compensation philosophy with a clear linkage to pay-for-performance.
  • Lead the design and implementation of job architecture and leveling frameworks to establish a solid foundation for compensation and talent management initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain competitive salary structures and annual incentive plans that align with both internal equity and external market competitiveness; conduct annual benchmarking analysis of compensation structures and programs.
  • Oversee compensation due diligence for potential acquisitions providing key analytical insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the administration and analysis of annual compensation planning cycles ensuring data integrity and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Create clear insightful visual representations of data such as charts graphs and presentations to communicate People Operations metrics and insights to senior leadership.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures for compensation programs and policies ensuring alignment with Thrives total rewards strategy and current market practices.

              Qualifications:
              • Bachelorsdegree in Business Administration Finance Accounting Human Resources or a related discipline
              • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience
              • Professional certifications such as CCP SPHR or SHRM-CP are preferred.
              • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite with strong expertise in Excel PowerPoint and Word; Workday experience is a plus.
              • Proven ability to analyze and interpret large datasets draw meaningful insights and present data-driven narratives while maintaining a strategic big picture perspective.
              • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated success in building and sustaining relationships across all organizational levels.
              • Highly self-motivated with strong analytical abilities interpersonal effectiveness and excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage competing priorities.
              • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
