Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and review mechanical quantity take-offs BOQs and cost estimates.
  • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents and subcontractor packages.
  • Monitor and control project costs budgets and cash flow.
  • Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices and claims.
  • Manage and assess variations change orders and cost impacts.
  • Participate in site inspections and progress tracking.
  • Prepare monthly progress valuations and final accounts.
  • Coordinate with project managers engineers procurement teams and clients.

Key Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor.
  • Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
  • Proven experience working with contractor firms on infrastructure projects (e.g. utilities pumping stations MEP for roads etc.).
  • Strong understanding of contract conditions cost control and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in QS software/tools and MS Office.
  • Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID.
  • Must be able to join immediately upon selection.
