Job Title: Mechanical Engineer II
Location: Stoughton WI 53589
Duration: 6 Months
Shift Time: 1st shift 8am to 5pm

Education: Mechanical Engineering degree is required
Experience: 2-4 years experience doing the same work
**Additional Manager notes**
- These candidates will be managing data quality running test and analyzing data.
- These candidates will need to be hands on and interface with test requestors.
- Someone with a coding background is a bonus.
- The manager would like 2-4 years experience doing the same.
- Mechanical Engineering degree is required.
- When the manager is ready the interviews will be done onsite. These positions are onsite.
Summary:
- Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices including dimensions fastening methods and other engineering information.
- Typically has a high school diploma or GED.
- Possesses technical skills including the knowledge of design techniques and blueprint reading.
- Education/Experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering required
- 2-4 years experience required Responsibility level
- Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills
- Creativity verbal and written communication skills analytical and problem-solving ability (Required)
- Team player and detail oriented (Required)
- Ability to make sketches engineering drawings and common computations
(Typically required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawing schematics and computer-generated reports (Typically required)
- Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Typically required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research design develop manufacture and test tools engines machines and other mechanical devices
- Research and analyze customer design proposals specifications manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew
- Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools equipment or software.
