We are seeking a highly organised proactive Operations Executive to ensure smooth operational processes and support impactful advocacy initiatives. In this role you will help shape a more sustainable future through operational excellence and effective stakeholder engagement. This is a mission-driven role offering you the chance to drive positive change within ProVeg Malaysia and the broader food system.
Tasks
Operational and Administrative Support (70%)
- Serve as a key communication link between stakeholders partners and internal team members.
- Draft edit and distribute internal memos newsletters and external press releases.
- Compile and maintain program activity and operational reports.
- Support OKR (Objectives and Key Results) tracking and summarise performance data.
- Monitor project budgets track expenses and generate financial reports.
Policy Advocacy and Institutional Engagement (30%)
- Assist in advancing plant-based dietary policies and sustainable food initiatives.
- Support the development of partnerships with institutions encouraging plant-based meal adoption.
- Assist in organising campaigns events and workshops to promote sustainable eating
Requirements
Required:
- At least 1-2 years of professional experience in a relevant role (business administration business operations
- Bachelors degree in sustainability business administration communications or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with performance tracking reporting and budgeting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient written skills in Malay.
- Passion for plant-based advocacy and sustainability.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic mission-driven environment.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in advocacy NGOs SDGs ESG or food sustainability initiatives.
- Familiarity with OKR frameworks and financial monitoring systems.
