Job Description

As the Wellbeing and Injury Management Advisor (Early Intervention) you will be responsible for providing effective and timely coordination and administrative support to the Wellbeing and Injury Management Team with a specific focus on early intervention and proactive injury management to support the safe and sustainable return to work of injured team members.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring timely initial contact with site managers and injured team members to initiate early intervention support provide triage assistance and escalate as required.
  • Liaising with injured team members leaders and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate immediate support and develop early and safe return to work strategies.
  • Managing injury-related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with state-specific legislative requirements including medical certificates claim forms and recovery at work plans.
  • Monitoring and processing invoices in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal procedures.
  • Supporting the Wellbeing and Injury Management Team in the accurate processing of Workers Compensation payments by ensuring all necessary documentation (including certificates of capacity) is accurate and complete.
  • Maintaining and updating the injury and claims management systems with accurate and relevant information.
  • Providing administrative support across the Wellbeing and Injury Management Team contributing to process improvement and documentation management.
  • Participating in ad hoc projects/assignments as required.

Qualifications :

To be Successful in this role you will need: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant Allied Health Profession.
  • Relevant professional association membership and/or registration.
  • Experience in rehabilitation (clinical or non-clinical) managing rehabilitation and return to work outcomes is advantageous preferably within the Occupational Rehabilitation industry.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills.
