What youll do

As the Enablement Manager Sales Development youll elevate the performance of our Global Sales Development organization in APJ. Youll achieve this by crafting and delivering engaging learning experiences contributing to strategic enablement initiatives and identifying and resolving skill gaps. Your training will cover a wide array of essential skills topics and behaviors crucial for sales development representatives readiness and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and delivering impactful training possessing strong sales acumen and expertise in learning design and e-learning tools. Ultimately youll be instrumental in influencing stakeholders and championing the adoption of best practices within the sales development team.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Manager Global xDR Performance Partners.

Responsibility

  • Develop deliver and continuously improve training programs for Sales Development teams (SDRs MDRs) focusing on product knowledge sales strategies and skills and effective use of sales tools
  • Contribute to the development of the overall sales enablement strategy identifying key areas for improvement and innovation
  • Train and enable teams primarily in APJ with flexibility to accommodate overlapping time zones for North America
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other enablement team members sharing best practices and expertise
  • Prototype and improve learning materials presentations and training modules to align with sales objectives and Docusigns go-to-market strategy in the APJ region
  • Lead the development of complex training content and programs ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals
  • Deliver and continue to enhance onboarding programs for Sales Development new hires ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge skills and tools needed to succeed
  • Evaluate and improve the onboarding process to maximize its effectiveness and impact on new hire ramp-up time
  • Conduct both virtual and in-person training sessions adapting delivery style to suit different learning environments and languages
  • Evaluate and assess instruction and impact using performance data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Analyze training effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement to senior stakeholders
  • Work closely with field leadership product enablement recruiting and marketing teams to ensure that training is aligned with the latest product updates and company goals
  • Influence cross-functional teams to prioritize enablement initiatives and secure necessary resources
  • Utilize a learning management system (LMS) / content management system (CMS) platform

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 3 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in a business-related or technical-related field or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of experience with Sales Enablement and/or Instructional Design in a technology-driven business environment
  • Knowledge of own function including functional principles core practices policies procedures methodologies and tools and know how to apply this knowledge to complete assigned work
  • Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives with significant impact


Preferred

  • Well-versed in sales methodologies and strong understanding of Sales Pre-Sales Customer Success and Partner processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience using LMS or CMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting on learning data via Google Sheets/Excel
  • Experience in a sales role
  • Proficient in commonly used sales tools
  • Receptive to change flexible and seek and adopt improved approaches and processes
  • Results-oriented and takes responsibility for actions and outcomes and meet commitments and strives for high performance
  • Manage project timelines deliverables and communications to ensure successful learning outcomes
  • Open to feedback and always seeks to learn

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.

Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Illinois Colorado Massachusetts and Minnesota: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Washington Maryland New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Washington DC: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Ohio: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
