- Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP FDA regulations or EU food laws.

- Key Skills
- Food Chemistry and Sensory Evaluation: Understanding of ingredients food preservation and how Flavors and textures impact consumer acceptance.
- Innovation & Trend Analysis: Ability to identify emerging food trends (e.g. plant-based functional foods) and develop new products that meet market demands.
- Project Management: Coordinating teams from different departments (marketing production supply chain etc.) and overseeing product development timelines.
- Market Research: Conducting consumer taste tests surveys and analysing industry trends to ensure products meet consumer needs.
- Food Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory guidelines in packaging labelling and production.
- Product Launch & Commercialization: Understanding how to take a product from idea to market including scaling production and managing cost controls.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders including internal teams suppliers and external partners.
