What You Will Do:

The OperationsManageroversees the day-to-dayoperationsfor Physician Managed Services. The Operations Manager position will be in the Mitchell South Dakota service center. This position is responsible for meeting and exceeding department goals client KPIs and managing daily operations and staff for assigned projects. This position will maintain relationships with client operations leadership at the service level and will monitor compliance with State and Federal laws and guidelines. TheOperationsManager will perform all job-related duties as assigned. Key job responsibilities will be the ability to effectively lead multiple or large-scale projects represent the Organization in a professional manner fostering an environment of trust and respect while developing and mentoring team members.

This is classified as a hybrid position requiring to be in the Mitchell SD office 2-3 days per week.

Essential Job Functions

  • Able to prioritize tasks and work independently without supervision

  • Work collaboratively with our offshore team in India

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to details and accuracy

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Solid understanding of CMS-1500 and electronic equivalent

  • Understand and meet clients specific needs

  • Ability to lead mentor and develop team members

  • Meet and exceed department goals

  • Support new project implementation and operational transition

  • Special client projects

  • Fill-in for Supervisors

  • Monitor productivity legal compliance and compliance with client policies & procedures

  • Verify and monitor time off requests

  • Ensure employee compliance with Guidehouse policies and procedures

  • Provide reports and statistical information for management and clients

  • Monitor client revenue reports

  • Process month-end procedures for Guidehouse

  • Promote teamwork and a positive work environment

  • Travel to other Guidehouse locations and client sites as needed

What You Will Need:

  • Requires a Bachelors Degree and a minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience or Associates Degree and a minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.(Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree.

  • Relevant experience coming from a healthcare provider payor CBO business office environment or an outsourcing company

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Physician Client Relations

  • PC skills in a Windows environment are required. Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Previous staff supervisory experience
