Pay range: $55600 to $125400 per year
Employment Status: Regular Full-time

The Community Relations Specialist will work with a team to advance the reputation and image of NorthWestern Energy and contribute to the business and civic life in the communities served by NorthWestern Energy.

About this job:
- Establish productive positive and effective relationships with business civic and local government leaders
- Support NorthWestern Energy in various economic development opportunities including Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development groups
- Communicate company positions on key initiatives for consistent and appropriate company messages
- Identify strengths and challenges in each community
- Review existing agreements develop consistent strategies identify opportunities and establish professional relationships in the communities served
- Support NorthWestern Energy at public meetings and forums
- Develop and/or present informational presentations to governmental and civic groups.
- Work with local Contribution Committees for charitable giving
- Support local employee community/volunteer involvement
- Evaluate and establish methods to grow the utility business
- Assist with development & implementation of a community action plan
- Support NorthWestern Energy on non-profit Boards
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energys values mission Code of Conduct and Ethics and strategic business objectives

- Degree in Business Economics Marketing Communications Engineering Public Administration or a related field of study
- Ability to interact with the public and develop positive customer and community relationships

- Demonstrable leadership conflict resolution and change agent skills required
