Job Description

Were currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to help lead operations at a fast-growing molecular diagnostics laboratory based in near Little Rock AR.
This is a dynamic opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys supporting both the technical and operational sides of a clinical lab.
What Youll Do:
As the Laboratory Supervisor youll oversee the day-to-day operations of the molecular diagnostics lab ensuring regulatory compliance managing personnel and driving quality and efficiency. Responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily workflow and scheduling staff across multiple departments
Hiring onboarding coaching and conducting performance reviews
Ensuring compliance with CLIA COLA and other regulatory standards
Managing laboratory supplies inventory and vendor relationships
Supporting budgeting financial planning and cost control measures
Developing and implementing departmental goals and training programs
Assisting with troubleshooting molecular instrumentation (e.g. QuantStudio)
Providing occasional bench support when necessary
Driving turnaround time improvements and overall lab performance
Who Were Looking For:
Were seeking a forward-thinking leader with strong technical skills and a passion for team development. Ideal candidates will bring:
ASCP certification (preferred)
3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
At least 1 year of proven supervisory or team lead experience
Familiarity with molecular platforms especially QuantStudio
Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving abilities
