The Warehouse Supervisor will lead daily warehouse operations at our La Porte branch ensuring safe efficient and accurate material handling inventory management and logistics coordination. This role is critical to ensuring the companys commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction across our distribution channels.
- Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within distribution logistics or industrial supply environments.
- Strong organizational/communication skills w/ the ability to multitask/prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Outlook Word).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
- Proficient on stand-up forklift (2 years of experience)
- 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to communicate in English
- High school diploma / GED
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection gloves steel-toed boots hard hat and flame retardant work clothes etc.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat dust noise vibration humidity).

- Associate degree or higher in Logistics Supply Chain Management Operations Management or a related field.
- Certifications:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 General Industry certification
- Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) or Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)

- Operations Oversight: Manage all inbound and outbound shipments including product receiving inventory put-away order picking and shipping.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory accuracy thru cycle counts audits & organizational best practices.
- Leadership & Supervision: Recruit train and manage warehouse personnel. Foster a team culture focused on safety accountability and performance.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA DOT and SPI safety standards. Maintain records conduct safety training and enforce proper use of PPE and equipment.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process changes that improve throughput accuracy and overall productivity.
- Facility & Equipment Management: Maintain warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks) and oversee facility upkeep and layout optimization.
- Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy on-time shipping and labor efficiency. Report performance to branch and regional leadership.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
