The Position:
We are now seeking an experienced Supervisor for an increase in work at one of our existing projects in the Pilbara. Reporting to the Operations Manager your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain contractual standards and reporting requirements
- Provide effective on the job training competency assessments
- Co-ordinate and conduct drill crew performance appraisals planned field breaks and leave
- Promote high personal standards within the crews
- Conduct and document regular inspections (safety & operational)
- Liaise with client representatives and employees in a professional manner
- Work is based on a 14:7 roster (7D/7N)
The Candidate:
- 5 years full time experience on RC surface drilling equipment. Iron ore experience highly regarded.
- Hold or be undertaking a Cert IV in Drilling Operations
- Experience working on a tier one miners project highly regarded.
- HR-B (or above) drivers licence
- Competent with computers and App based technology
- Strong focus on safety and industry safety innovations
- National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old)
- Be physically fit and healthy
