Bellesini Academy is a Catholic tuition-free middle school serving students from families with limited financial means in Lawrence Massachusetts. With a co-institutional model and an emphasis on personalized learning structure and opportunity Bellesini empowers students to excel academically grow in faith and gain acceptance into top college-preparatory high schools. Our students consistently achieve more than two years of academic growth per school yearand have earned more than $30 million in high school scholarships to serve 120 students in grades 58 and over 250 alumni throughout high school and college. Our dedicated team includes full-time faculty administrators alumni support and part-time staffall united in our belief that education is a vehicle for transformation and Impact as Dean of AcademicsAs a key member of our leadership team the Dean of Academics will be at the heart of school lifeshaping academic strategy empowering faculty and fostering a high-achieving joy-filled culture for students. Youll collaborate closely with the Head of School Dean of Students and Director of Alumni Support to drive innovation promote equity and support our Youll Do:Lead Teaching & Learning:- Champion instructional excellence by guiding curriculum development evaluating programs and supporting teacher growth.- Recruit train and mentor new facultyproviding hands-on support through classroom visits coaching and a two-year mentorship model.- Facilitate dynamic professional development ongoing learning communities and school-wide academic initiatives.- Ensure engaging and rigorous learning environments through real-time feedback teacher collaboration and creative use of educational Students to Thrive:- Monitor student performance and work with faculty to provide targeted academic interventions.- Foster deep student engagement through regular classroom presence and meaningful relationships.- Oversee the full academic cycle: grades progress reports assessments and curriculum Community:- Create a school culture rooted in joy belonging achievement and faith.- Collaborate on enrichment opportunities like field trips leadership programs character education family engagement events and after-school programs.- Help set and uphold clear compassionate policies in partnership with the Dean of School Operations:- Co-lead daily school operations and strategic planning with fellow administrators.- Coordinate the school calendar and support our vibrant four-week Bellesini Summer Program.- Support admissions fundraising events and high school placement efforts as a visible and active school We Offer:- Paid time off includes 15 paid holidays Christmas Break (December 23 through January 1); Massachusetts February Vacation Week (school shut down) One week in August (full school shut down) additional paid two weeks off and sick time- Health dental life and disability insurance- 403B retirement plan with employer match after two years- A professional learning stipend to support your growth and development- The opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of students and families in LawrenceReady to ApplyJoin a passionate team doing transformative work.
