Our client is an Engineering Procurement Company. Due to expansion they are in need of a Sales Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities:
Identify target and convert new B2B clients in relevant industries
Understand client technical needs and recommend the right engineering solutions
Prepare and present compelling technical-commercial proposals
Lead bid/tender processes and negotiate deals
Manage project timelines delivery schedules and after-sales support
Stay updated on market trends competitor activity and pricing intelligence
Maintain CRM records and report on sales performance
Job Requirements:
First degree in any Engineering or Science-related field
2-3 years proven experience in technical sales or EPC-related business development
Strong understanding of engineering products procurement cycles and project bidding
Effective communication of customers needs to the sales support team
Understanding of Manufacturing Systems and facilities
Ability to manage a list of existing customers via follow-up networking and other innovative means of developing the business
Having driving skills could provide an added advantage.
Excellent presentation and creativity skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce Zoho) and ERP systems
Ability to work independently meet targets and travel as needed
