Job Description

Our client is a leading IT solution provider company in Nigeria. Due to expansion they are in need of a Business Development Manager.

Job Summary

We seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive client acquisition close high-impact deals and accelerate revenue growth. The BDM will take full ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to closing and account transition. This role is ideal for a tenacious data-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new leads via outbound and inbound channels (calls emails LinkedIn networking).
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline across SMEs mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Conduct product demos discovery meetings and solution pitching aligned with client needs.
  • Customize proposals manage objections and negotiate terms toward deal closure.
  • Own and achieve quarterly sales targets across segments.
  • Maintain average deal size and reduce sales cycle through structured follow-ups.
  • Maintain up-to-date lead and deal information in CRM.
  • Submit detailed weekly and monthly sales reports (leads demos proposals conversion rates).
  • Work closely with Marketing Customer Success and Product teams to refine GTM strategies.
  • Contribute insights on customer behavior market trends and comp


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 5 years proven success in B2B or SaaS sales.
  • Strong experience with full sales cycle execution.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho preferred).
  • Strong negotiation proposal writing and closing skills.
  • Exceptional communication presentation and analytical skills.
  • Results-oriented and numbers-driven.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to handle high-pressure sales environments.
