Job Description
For our client we are seeking a Business Controller to cover for a parental leave.
In this role you will play an active part in the monthly follow-up process as well as in budget and forecasting activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Tracking and proactively managing matters related to the financial performance of GIS.
- Driving continuous improvements in the quality of financial data used for GIS reporting.
- Conducting cost analysis preparing forecasts and handling accruals.
- Preparing materials for and actively participating in financial forums with business and service owners.
The Controlling function has four main areas of responsibility:
- Ensuring cost control process compliance and driving continuous process improvements.
- Providing financial oversight and support for projects and programs.
- Acting as a financial partner and co-pilot to the business.
- Delivering services by transforming data into actionable insights.
Required qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role with a solid background in Controlling.
- University degree in Business Administration Finance or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in IT tools and MS Office applications.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience in IT Controlling is considered an advantage.
- Background from working in an international or multi-national environment is desirable.
- Experience in project-related work especially within budgeting and forecasting is highly valued.

- Thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong collaborator comfortable working across different forums and with diverse stakeholders.
