Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Market Development
Responsible for executing effective marketing and sales strategies aimed at new market development achieving sales targets and assessing the viability of new product introductions and marketing initiatives.
Team Leadership & Development
Build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on long-term market penetration. Guide coach monitor and motivate team members to ensure consistent performance and growth.
Sales Performance Management
Achieve monthly sales targets.
Maximize profit margins through strategic pricing and customer management.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Manage and dispose of aging inventory efficiently.
Market Intelligence & Responsiveness
Stay attuned to market trends and customer needs. Provide timely feedback and actionable recommendations to management for immediate and strategic decision-making.
Entrepreneurial Mindset
Promote a proactive opportunity-seeking culture within the team. Encourage innovation and initiative in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Inventory & Supply Chain Control
Oversee inventory management to minimize slow-moving finished goods work-in-progress (WIP) and raw materials (e.g. mother coils) ensuring optimal stock levels.
Planning & Budgeting
Develop and implement monthly sales forecasts annual sales budgets and Management by Objectives (MBO) plans aligned with company goals.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and submit timely sales reports and documentation as required by management for strategic reviews and decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience from any of these related industries is an added advantage: Steel Manufacturing Construction or Building Materials.
- Knowledge or sales experience in Industrial Products for automobile engineering and construction industries is an advantage.
- Strong selling and negotiation skills with capabilities in building & maintaining long term clients relationships.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel occasionally for business outstation.
- Computer literate and familiarity with Microsoft office applications
