At Marsh we have a fantastic opportunity for an individual keen to progress their career within our Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions (PEMA) Practice in Sydney. As a Transactional Risk Analyst you will gain industry leading training and guidance in supporting clients through M&A insurance solutions with a focus on warranties and indemnities (W&I) insurance. This position offers the opportunity to assist in impactful M&A projects within a supportive and collaborative team environment.


Our Transactional Risk practice within PEMA boasts a strong track record of supporting clients through interesting and complex M&A transactions worldwide delivering customized M&A insurance solutions for high-profile deals. We will count on you to:

  • Assist in providing advice on insurance solutions related to M&A transactions under the guidance of senior brokers.
  • Support the policy and coverage negotiation process by researching and drafting policy wordings that align to the clients objectives.
  • Help build and maintain strong professional relationships with the local M&A community.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients during the M&A process ensuring effective communication and support.
  • Contribute to project management by assisting in the coordination of tasks and timeliness to help achieve successful outcomes.



What you need to have:

  • Previous legal or insurance sector experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
