You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe need a Procurement Analyst who pays attention to detail and can think critically to join our remote this job youll help with procurement operations look at sourcing data manage supplier relationships and make sure that purchasing strategies are cost-effective. The perfect person for this job will have worked in procurement or supply chain management be very good at analyzing data and be very interested in making operations run more smoothly.
Key Duties:
Do a full analysis of spending and find ways to save money in many different areas.
Help create and carry out sourcing plans that are in line with the goals of the organization.
Use important metrics to judge how well a supplier is doing and suggest ways to make things better.
Make and give management regular reports on procurement that include market trends and risk assessments.
Work with people inside the company to learn about their procurement needs and business goals.
Talk to suppliers about contracts prices and terms to get the best deals.
Keep accurate records of purchases prices and other important information.
Help people follow the rules of the company and the industry.
Take part in ongoing efforts to make the procurement process more efficient.
Fix problems and disagreements with suppliers quickly and professionally.
What you need to have:
A bachelors degree in business finance supply chain management or a related field.
At least two years of experience in a role related to purchasing procurement or the supply chain.
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and procurement software like SAP Oracle and Coupa.
Good at talking and writing.
Ability to work alone in a remote setting with little supervision.
Good at organizing things and managing time.
Preferred Qualifications:
It is very helpful to have professional certifications like CPSM CIPS or APICS.
Experience with systems for managing contracts and e-procurement tools.
Knowledge of sourcing practices that are both ethical and sustainable.
Pay and benefits by the hour:
Pay by the hour: $28.00 to $40.00 depending on your experience and skills.
