About the role
Ventia have a opportunity for a Quality and Assurance Manager to join our close knit and long standing Australian Marine Complex (AMC) team. This role is based within the AMC Common User Facility (AMC CUF) in Henderson. This is a Fulltime Permanent Position working Monday to Friday.

The AMC CUF is a multi-industry multi-user industrial facility serviced by a deep-water port a floating dock and transfer system specialised load out wharves extensive laydown and assembly areas and several large fabrication halls.

Key duties but not limited to:

  • Implement assurance compliance audit planning and execution of improvements.
  • Lead the development of a sustainable and complete document management approach for the Project
  • Support SHEQ and Project staff to identify the projects contractual deliverables and implementing adequate assurance program to monitor the compliance.
  • Lead internal auditing and inspection activities to ensure compliance across the project.
  • Monitor and develop strategies to improve SHEQ and project performance.
  • Provide expert advice and practical solutions to teams to ensure Assurance & Quality compliance.

What we are looking for:

  • Diploma Degree in OHS science engineering or related discipline
  • Lead Auditor qualification and audit experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in safety environment and delivery of quality auditing roles (internal & external).
  • 5 years in similar industry services or construction organization.
  • Operational experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in delivery of internal audit programs.
  • Experience in structuring quality systems and writing efficient and effective quality documentation.
