Job Description
Critter Control of San Jose seeks a Wildlife Control Specialist to solve wildlife and rodent problems for customers throughout Silicon Valley. Youll conduct property inspections implement wildlife management strategies and provide expert solutions in a dynamic outdoor environment.
This role combines technical expertise with customer service excellence. Youll work independently while being part of a supportive team developing specialized skills and earning industry certifications. More than a job its a career opportunity making a real difference daily.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid CA drivers license clean record (NO DUIs EVER)
- Pass drug screening background check employment physical
- Medically cleared for respirator use
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Lift 50 lbs work in confined spaces (attics crawlspaces roofs)
- Comfortable working at heights with ladders/safety equipment
- Familiar with San Jose and surrounding areas
Professional Requirements:
- Obtain CA Dept of Fish & Wildlife Trapping Certification within 90 days
- Complete safety training maintain Cal/OSHA compliance
- Manage route planning and customer scheduling
- Maintain detailed documentation standards
Preferred: 1 years pest control/wildlife/construction experience customer service background
