As our Cost Per Repair Specialist you will be at the forefront of driving analytical insights and improvements.
ResponsibilitiesWhat youll do...
- Leading and overseeing the comprehensive analysis of Cost Per Repair (CPR) data setting strategic analytical direction to identify key cost drivers trends and opportunities for significant improvement across all repair processes.
- Designing developing and managing the creation of advanced reports dashboards and analytical models that provide deep insights into CPR performance quality outcomes and financial impact for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Translating complex data analysis into strategic recommendations for management driving the initiation and execution of high-impact projects aimed at optimizing repair costs and enhancing quality.
- Leading cross-functional teams in conducting root cause analysis for high CPR items quality deviations or recurring repair issues and championing the implementation of effective sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
- Driving and championing the adoption of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) within repair operations fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
- Defining monitoring and reporting on key strategic performance indicators (KPIs) related to repair costs quality and cycle times establishing targets and ensuring alignment with organizational financial and operational goals.
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes for repair expenses providing expert guidance robust variance analysis and strategic input to finance and operations planning.
- Establishing and enforcing data governance standards for all CPR and quality-related data ensuring data accuracy integrity and reliability across all systems and reporting mechanisms.
- Presenting strategic insights findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders influencing critical business decisions and securing buy-in for improvement initiatives.
- Mentoring and developing junior analysts or team members fostering their analytical skills business acumen and understanding of repair economics.

To excel in this role youll need a robust blend of technical expertise analytical leadership skills and strategic thinking:
- A Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering Supply Chain Management or a related quantitative or technical field.
- Proven experience (e.g. 5 years) in a senior data analysis cost analysis operations analysis or similar role with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Excel Tableau Power BI Qlik Sense) with a strong ability to build complex models and impactful dashboards.
- Proficiency in complex data extraction manipulation and analysis
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present complex analytical findings to management and executive-level audiences and influence strategic decisions.
- Strong leadership capabilities including project management stakeholder management and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
- A proven track record of identifying and delivering significant cost savings or operational efficiencies through data-driven insights.

While not strictly required candidates with the following experience will be particularly well-suited for this role:
- A Masters degree in a relevant field.
- Direct experience in automotive warranty analysis quality engineering or service operations specifically within a large-scale OEM.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with Fords internal quality systems product development processes (e.g. GPDS) and global manufacturing footprint.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive inquisitive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- Advanced certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.
- Global program management experience working with diverse international teams and supply chains.
- Prior experience in a consulting role focused on operational efficiency supply chain optimization or cost reduction within a large enterprise.
- Comfort with large data sets various data systems analytics platforms and a foundational understanding of automotive product development manufacturing processes and vehicle systems.
