Were looking for an experienced and motivated Collections Lead to join our growing team at Onboard Finance. In this role youll be responsible for driving collections performance reducing arrears and managing complex customer accounts all while supporting a small collaborative team.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day collections activity with coaching process improvement and strategic oversight. Youll work closely with senior leaders and external partners to deliver strong recovery outcomes while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Lead & support collections across novated lease and finance portfolios
Manage complex accounts & escalations
Coach & mentor the Collections Officer
Oversee external debt collection partners
Analyse trends spot risks & drive process improvements
Prepare clear insightful reports for senior stakeholders
Collaborate with Legal Finance and other teams
Strong background in debt recovery (finance leasing or automotive preferred)
Solid understanding of consumer credit laws (NCCP Privacy Act)
Confident negotiator with great judgement under pressure
Skilled in handling sensitive or complex customer situations
Leadership experience or proven ability to guide others
Strong communication problem-solving & time management skills
Comfortable with data analysis and reporting (Excel CRM systems)
