Title: History Education Coordinator
Division: Education & Engagement
Reports to: Director of History Education
Position Status: Full-time; Exempt
Salary: $40000/year
Position summary:
The Education Coordinator position serves as a member of the Education & Engagement divisions Education Department and will provide vital teaching & administrative support for a team that impacts tens of thousands of students and adults annually through a combination of onsite tours distance learning programs and teacher programming. The History Education Coordinator will utilize their organizational & interpretive skills to schedule staff and lead onsite group tours and digital programs while overseeing a team of part-time Museum Educators and provide occasional administrative support for Virginia History Day and other museum programs.
