Austin Industrial Inc. - We seek an experienced Safety Technician based in Houston TX.
This position requires CSST or NCCER a Valid Drivers License and a TWIC Card.
Maintenance position works 4 10-hour shifts plus occasional overtime - No per diem.

Safety Technician
Responsibilities include executing the site safety program on an assigned project. Educates and trains Austin project staff in safety requirements and best practices in incident prevention. Ensures compliance with company and customer safety policies. Other duties may be assigned.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build working relationships with customer representatives project staff and subcontractor safety representatives.
- Assist in creating accurate safety reports and accident investigation documents
- Assist in staff safety training and subcontractor development
- Represent the company positively and professionally with the customer and subcontractors
- Create and facilitate safety training and orientations aligned with project specifics and schedules
- Participate in safety organizations outside of the company and in assigned region
- Ensure compliance with the companys current safety manual policies and expectations
- Majority of time spent in the field observing work coaching auditing and engaging craft employee-owners
- Help project supervision resolve safety problems and issues in the field
- Fill in for site HSE manager during absences
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education no minimum education requirements.
Experience 4 years of maintenance and construction safety experience.
Certification/License: A valid Drivers License TWIC Card and CSST/NCCER
