Scope of Work:
Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Deputy CFO) will be a key leader in the finance department supporting all financial aspects of the companys operations. This role demands a strong financial strategist with deep expertise in real estate finance accounting and compliance. The Deputy CFO will be instrumental in driving financial planning analysis reporting and risk management ensuring the companys financial health and supporting its strategic growth objectives.
2. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes including budgeting forecasting and long-range financial modeling for various real estate projects (acquisition development disposition).
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by the executive team particularly concerning new investments divestitures and capital allocation.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and communicate potential financial risks to the CFO and executive team in a timely manner.
- Manage cash flow liquidity and working capital optimizing investment of company funds.
- Monitor and analyze market trends regulatory changes and other external factors impacting the real estate financial landscape.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of all financial statements (P&L Balance Sheet Cash Flow) in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g. GAAP IFRS).
- Oversee internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Coordinate and manage external audits tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Assist the CFO in leading mentoring and developing the finance and accounting team.
3. Qualification & Requirement:
- Financial Planning and Financial Statements skills
- Analytical Skills and Finance experience
- Proficiency with data analytics tools.
- Financial Reporting expertise
- Strong understanding of financial systems and processes
- Experience in real estate or property development industry is a plus
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience with at least 3-5 years in a senior financial management role (e.g. Controller Director of Finance or similar) within the real estate industry.
4. Working Days and Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm
- Lunch time: 12:00pm to 1:00pm
