Graduate Admissions Recruiter/Assistant Director of Admissions
Chatham University is seeking a professional detail-oriented and highly service-driven individual to join our team as a Graduate Admissions Recruiter. This role is responsible for increasing enrollment across multiple graduate programs particularly in emerging markets.
The Graduate Admissions Recruiter manages all recruitment activities for assigned degree programs encompassing yearly planning admission application reading and management working with prospective students collaborating with faculty and developing and building relationships with potential employer and partner institutions
Position to be filled at the Recruiter level; however highly qualified candidates may be considered for the Assistant Director title.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and management of an annual recruitment plan to build program awareness and drive enrollment for multiple graduate programs.
- Recruit both domestic and international students; provide advising and support through the admissions process for prospective students applicants admitted and deposited students.
- Plan and execute on- and off-campus recruitment events at multiple campuses and travel to feeder schools employers and essential conferences/enrollment events to represent assigned programs.
- Prepare and present professional information sessions regarding academic degree programs admissions and financial aid (virtually on-campus and in the community).
- Work with the universitys marketing department to contribute to the various communication materials needed to promote degree programs and various university programs and services.
- Work as liaison with faculty program directors and other campus stakeholders to ensure enrollment goals are met.
- Create and maintain relationships with colleges and universities businesses organizations professional networks non-profits and other organizations to identify and cultivate academic and prospective student pathways.
- Assist with efforts to continue awareness and engagement of program-specific scholarships and funding award process.
- Assist in making regular reports concerning the status of recruitment and current enrollment of students across all assigned programs.
- This position requires daytime and some overnight travel as well as participation in weekend events throughout the year.
Qualifications:
- Proven results-driven approach to sales recruitment and/or admissions.
- Minimum of two years admissions recruitment or sales related experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills as well as knowledge about marketing emerging technology and media; must be comfortable speaking confidently before large and small groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to quickly learn and utilize proprietary educational software; basic math ability; and excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing applications through a customer relationship management (CRM) system preferred; experience with SlateCRM system a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative to meet deadlines and goals.
- Bachelors degree required masters degree preferred.
- Must have valid drivers license.
Salary Range:
$46100 - $52400. 40-hour work week.
