Site Overview:
Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components supporting not only Indias defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach continue to shape Indias aerospace ecosystem
Design Develop and implement manufacturing processes for Aerospace Tubes and Ducts including metal forming fabrication machining NDT chemical processing and heat treatment to ensure high-quality precision products.
Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards including AS9100 AS9102 APQP PPAP and NadCap requirements.
Utilize CAD software such as Unigraphics and AutoCAD to design and modify tools fixtures and manufacturing layouts.
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precise and accurate product specifications.
own the New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in assigned part family with APQP implementation and support the product thru the lifecycle ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design quality and production to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production and quality issues.
Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Monitor and deliver on business KPIs and metrics related to safety quality delivery and cost (SQDC).
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies and processes.
Hands on experience into General Fabrication (Tubes & Ducts Structures combination machine parts sheet metal parts)
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
3 to 6years of experience in manufacturing engineering with 2 years minimum in the aerospace industry.
Knowledge of AS9100 AS9102 APQP PPAP and NadCap processes.
Proficiency in CAD software including Unigraphics and AutoCAD.
Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience with the design and implementation of tools and fixtures.
Adequate project management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good knowledge of lean manufacturing principles continuous improvement methodologies.
