Job Description
- Permanent Part Time position -66.5 hour fortnightly - Night-Duty
- North of the River - Pearsall location
- Salary Packaging (up to $18550) and Leave Loading (17%) per annum payable on annual leave
Rocky Bay is seeking expressions of interest from candidates who are seeking a Night-Duty Support Worker position and join our team in Pearsall. We are looking for people whowill be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities promoting their independence and fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Night-Duty Support Worker Roster 66.5 hours per fortnight
Week 1 Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat/Sun 2300-0830
Week 2 Wed/Thu 2300-0830
About the Support Worker role:
- Available for active night duty Monday-Sunday for our supported accommodation home
- Support our customers in all aspects of daily life including; maintaining their home facilitating and attending outings and medical appointments personal hygiene and support with daily activities whilst always demonstrating dignity and respect for our customers.
- Communicate and engage with the customer in a relevant and meaningful way.
- Transport participants travelling to and from activities and outings using Rocky Bay vehicles.
- Ensure all supports and services provided are accurately documented and accounted for through time-sheets case notes incident reporting etc.
We are looking for:
- Can demonstrate a commitment to an inclusive and person-centred environment
- Previous experience working with people with a range of disabilities
- Can adapt to working in a persons home and contribute to a positive environment
- Solid understanding of customer active support
