Were looking for a dedicated NDIS Support Coordinator who has strong background in Social Work to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our participants.
About the Role:
As an NDIS Support Coordinator youll work closely with participants to:
The role helps NDIS participants to understand and implement the funded supports in their plan and help link them to the community mainstream and other government services that can assist in the implementation of their plan and achieving goals. The role will focus on supporting participants plan for the future build on their strengths and skills develop networks within their community as well as connect participants to providers. The role will assist participants to optimise their NDIS plan ensuring they are getting the most out of their funded supports.
This role will require you to have strong administration and organisational skills along with experience in Social Work. You will need to work with clients that may be under stressful situations so a calm demeanor is very beneficial in the role. An understanding of NDIS whether it be in a professional or personal capacity is needed to be successful in this role.
Desirable Criteria
Applicants of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent are encouraged to apply
A certificate II III or IV in Individual Support Community Services Aged Care Mental Health or related field
