About the Role
As aPrincipal Design Operations you will play a critical role in shaping driving and executing strategic programs that enable operational excellence across the entire Design organization. With scope that spans multiple products and systems youll lead high-priority initiatives mentor design ops practitioners and be accountable for the quality and timely delivery of the work under your purview.
You will serve as a recognized expert in design operations and a trusted thought partner to senior leadership influencing both team operations and the broader product roadmap.   • Recognized expertise in design operations with a proven ability to lead large-scale cross-functional initiatives and influence strategic outcomes.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of high-quality work at both tactical and strategic levels with minimal oversight.
  • A strong inspirational voice within the organization able to influence and align partners across 4iTB (Four-in-the-Box) functions.
  • Mastery in navigating ambiguity making thoughtful trade-offs and guiding others through complex decision-making.
  • A track record of mentoring talent and translating high-level organizational goals into clear operational plans.
  • A proactive mindset in identifying knowledge or process gapsand the ability to solve them through collaboration and data.
  • An ability to set and communicate a clear vision that motivates others and enhances the Design teams visibility and impact.
Youll make an impact by:
  • Leading design ops programs that deliver large measurable improvements in team performance delivery and collaboration.
  • Crafting and tailoring operational approaches to specific challenges and guiding teams through successful execution.
  • Influencing product roadmaps and cross-functional strategies by representing design priorities in leadership discussions.
  • Removing systemic roadblocks and fostering conditions for exceptional design outcomes across a diverse portfolio.
  • Participating in and enhancing the Design teams growthhiring mentoring and managing the careers of new and existing team members.
  • Driving a strong culture of collaboration feedback and continuous improvement within and beyond the Design team.
  • Shaping the narrative around designs value and helping the team scale its voice and impact across the organization.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Degree in Design Operations HCI Program Management or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in design operations UX program management or similar leadership roles.
  • A standout record of delivering design ops strategies that align business value with craft excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organizationthrough communication strategic insight and partnership.
  • Deep experience leading initiatives across multiple systems and product domains in fast-paced evolving environments.

The annual salary range for this position is $110000.00-$220000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelors degree in UI/UX design graphic design visual communication product design computer science information technology or related area and 5 years experience in UI/UX interactive and visual design electronics art multimedia design or related area. Option 2: 7 years experience in UI/UX interactive and visual design electronics art multimedia design or related area.
