Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring Assistant Director Of Nursing-Surgical Services Posts for a hospital located in Tralee Ireland.


Responsibilities
  • Ensure the maintenance of patient safety at all times.
  • Maintenance of effective throughput of patients within the service.
  • Ensuring that workloads are arranged in a manner that maximises the use of resources.
  • Analysing monitoring and forecasting trends relevant to the service
  • Direct and active participation in service planning implementation and evaluation in overall resource management of the service including continuous quality audit and performance measurements
  • Ensuring the application of best practice including the generation of action plans to continuously improve the provision of services.


Requirements

  • A member of the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBI)
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Experience in acute care management
  • Five years or more after registration is required with prior experience working in an intensive training hospital being crucial.
  • A bachelors degree is required but a higher degree is preferred and one is prepared to pursue it.
  • A management degree is necessary.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operational planning quality and safety management dispute resolution change management resource management and issue solving.
  • Outstanding communication interpersonal and IT abilities Essentials
