Job Description:
Responsible for the senior sales leadership fiscal planning setting strategy and attaining targets. Also responsible for establishing sales territories and goals sales training and market leader is a member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the President and is responsible for managing and directing the Sales staff achieving performance metrics managing expenses and revenue and ensuring compliance with established safety standards and government market potential and develops and implements plans to achieve maximum market competitive activity and provides feedback to a thorough understanding of and fully leverages NLP and Market Watch programs to maximize the companys effectiveness and to add case strategy based on customer business drivers to increase market share for products and and directs annual OpCo Food Shows General Sales Meetings and DSM Meetings and fosters trusting relationships with manages major and critical developing customer for building and leading the strategy for training and development of the sales staff (including Regional Managers District Sales Managers and Area Managers).Leads and directs all aspects of sales and marketing performance adjusting activities to meet or exceed financial targeted profit margins as determined by business goals increasing sales growth while maintaining acceptable levels of gross and leads sales leadership in presenting major proposals to key expertise and assistance in the solicitation of new or prospective business by participating in meetings and other activities to help build customer other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree10 Years in a sales leadership position in the foodservice distribution industry
Preferred Qualifications
Masters/MBA10 years of prior experience managing a complex salesforce that spans a large demographic area
