The Head of Sales for Poland will be a member of the Leadership Team and will be responsible for driving sales growth optimizing the route to the market and fostering strong partnerships with key customers and distributors. Leading a team of Sales Managers across the region this role ensures the achievement of sales and profitability targets while maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills a deep understanding of trade dynamics business acumen and marketing expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Market Development
- Develops and executes sales strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with key customers and build effective model of distribution to enhance market penetration and efficiency.
- Continuously analyzes market trends competitor activities and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensures the development of sales forecasts budgets and performance plans in collaboration with the team.
Commercial & Financial Performance
- Achieves or exceeds sales and profitability targets
- Implements data-driven decision-making processes using analytics to track performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Proactively and continuously aspire to serve key stakeholder needs expectations and challenges in order to build trusted key stakeholder relationships and to achieve win-win agreements on a continuous basis.
Leadership & Team Development
- Leads mentors and motivates sales and customer service teams fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provides coaching and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and drive results.
- Optimize resource utilization by leading developing and coaching Sales Team performance including setting sales targets and incentive schemes managing Sales Force Management Systems and KPIs to continuously improve country sales performance. Ensure regular updates on Sales Team skills in terms of medical technical and special in-field knowledge areas.
- Professionally manage cross functional cooperation lead manage and coordinate effective multidisciplinary In Field Teams and ensure strategic and tactical alignment between In Field and Brand Team activities including timely and qualitative market intelligence information flow between In Field Brand Teams and Sales Function to optimize brand strategy and its execution.
Route to Market & Distribution Excellence
- Optimizes the route to market strategy ensuring effective product distribution and customer reach.
- Strengthens relationships with customers and distributors implementing effective commercial policy and ensure full adherence to it
- Implements best practices in sales execution ensuring alignment with marketing and trade initiatives.
- Works closely with logistics teams to ensure product availability and efficiency.
Marketing & Business Development
- Works collaboratively with marketing team to align sales strategies with brand positioning and promotional activities.
- Identifies new business opportunities developing strategic initiatives to expand market presence.
- Ensures the implementation of marketing campaigns and trade activations that drive demand and sales.
Compliance & Ethical Business Conduct
- Ensures adherence to company policies industry regulations and ethical business practices.
- Promotes a culture of integrity and compliance within the sales team and distributor network.
- Monitors legal and regulatory changes ensuring business operations remain compliant.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing leadership roles.
- Proven track record in leading and motivating sales teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and market insights.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal);
- Experience in B2B health related industry is a plus
