Job Description

We are seeking a Rostering Officer to join our team for a permanent role based in our Melbourne City office. Reporting to the Team Leader you will be the first point of contact for a range of enquiries from clients and staff.  You will join an established team with the responsibility of allocation of shifts to our Nurses for our Aged Care and Acute clients.

The successful incumbent is tech-savvy a fast typist with strong multitasking skills. If you have experience in high-volume call centre  environments and you thrive in a team environment this could be your next role!

Our rotating roster is 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday - To be considered you must be able to work these hours.


Responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently respond to inbound calls and emails from our healthcare clients to help them fill evening and overnight shifts (i.e a Nursing Manager within a hospital) - ensuring satisfaction and a seamless placement process through effective communication and customer service
  • Answering phone calls and assisting with client and stakeholder enquiries
  • Scheduling of nursing staff and ensuring all shifts are filled in a timely manner
  • Identifying gaps in the roster ensuring there is a pool of nurses credentialed and ready for shifts

To be considered:

  • Ability to answer phone/email enquires in a fast-paced environment
  • MUST be able to work the rostered hours
  • Experience in rostering within the healthcare sector (desirable)
  • Driven passionate and dedicated to scheduling effective services for clients and staff
  • Ability to calmly perform in high pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
