Are you an Allied Health professional with a passion for management seeking a leadership opportunity Peninsula Private Hospital welcomes applications for experienced Allied Health staff members to join our dynamic Allied Health team on a permanent basis.

As the Allied Health Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership and direction to the Allied Health team
  • Participating in the marketing initiatives of the hospital to promote admissions and be an active member of the leadership and management team
  • Facilitating high quality clinical care to our patients
  • Overseeing the identification implementation and evaluation of allied health programs to enhance clinical outcomes
  • Enduring Allied Health costs per patient day are maintained in-line with operational budgets
  • Managing resources efficiently to compliment the strategic direction of the hospital

About Us

With 70 inpatients Surgical Medical and Rehabilitation beds a rehabilitation gym and 3 operating theatres located on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula our facility averages 760 admissions per month. Specialties include orthopaedics general surgery urology gynaecology gastroenterology ophthalmology and internal medicine and the delivery of leading rehabilitation services and programs on the Brisbane Northside.

Peninsula Private Hospital has been providing care to our local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care.

Peninsula Private Hospital is supported by a state executive team our corporate services team and the Healthscope network.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA registration in an Allied Health Speciality e.g. Physiotherapy Occupational Therapy etc.
  • Possess extensive and consolidated experience in Management
  • High Level customer service and relationship skills
  • Demonstrated effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Be innovative and adaptive to change
  • Have high level capacity to problem solve and innovate to support the hospitals strategic plan
  • Post graduate qualification in Management or Clinical specialty is desirable
