Our QC and Compliance Supervisors are essential to maintaining high standards in laboratory operations and ensuring outstanding client service. This role provides leadership and oversight in a pharmaceutical raw materials environment with a strong focus on regulatory compliance technical accuracy and team development.
Technical:
- Lead cross-functional teams to support optimal client services and ensure superlative customer service
- Independently investigate quality deviations and prevent reoccurrences in QC operations
- Oversee training programs maintain relevant documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage laboratory operations including supply maintenance housekeeping and instrument calibration
- Perform and document sampling/testing activities as required reporting any quality anomalies
Leadership:
- Supervise direct reports and group leaders in technical settings such as laboratories or manufacturing facilities
- Coordinate scheduling allocate responsibilities and manage new hire onboarding process
- Promote company vision and meet quality and productivity metrics
- Implement operational improvements through LEAN Operational Excellence and Six Sigma methodologies
- Foster teamwork collaboration and effective communication within the department and with clients

Minimum Qualificaitons:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or other science-related degree concentration or equivalent directly-related experience
- 3-5 years of previous leadership experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced GMP environment
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time 1st shift 8:00 am 4:30 pm Monday-Friday. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
