Position Summary
The Communications & Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level position supporting the Town of Gypsums communications and marketing efforts. This position plays a key role in promoting community events and public information through a variety of media channels including social media print radio and the Towns website. The role involves content creation graphic design and coordination with internal departments and external partners. This position will also serve as a backup Public Information Officer (PIO) and provide administrative support at Town Hall as needed.
Supervision Received
Works under the direct supervision of the Culture & Operations Director. Coordinates and works with the Town Clerk for any administrative duties and the Town Events Manager (a contracted position) for events.
