GENERAL DUTIES: Educators will engage in professional development led by the vendor focused on implementing the ELD curriculum. The initial sessions will support all teachers in their efforts to become thoroughly familiar with using the adopted programs print and online components to address the state or course standards. An important learning outcome of the workshops is to build confidence for immediate use of the online learning resource(s) to plan manage teach and assess.
Compensation: Teachers will be paid at the contractual rate for work outside of the school day (up to 4 hours total)
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will be an educator at one of the secondary schools who teaches entering and emerging ELs. We are looking for a well represented group of educators. Duties: 5-12 MLE teachers will get the chance to start to preview and prepare for the implementation of the Lift - Access the world through language literacy and content curriculum in foundational and transitional classrooms.
COMPENSATION: There will be 4 hours allocated to this project. Compensation: Teachers will be paid at the contractual rate. (up to 4 hours)
