Job Description

Job Description Summary

Senior Director - PCS Services Technology is a key leader in the PCS Service team responsible for engineering and innovation. This role requires technical expertise across multiple disciplines strong leadership skills financial acumen and customer focus. The CTO is a key partner in shaping the Services business strategy aligning engineering processes and talent with short- and long-term goals while staying current with industry trends. The role also encompasses global talent management people and organizational structures and providing engineering processes (i.e. tools and standard work) to equip the team for success.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Lead global engineering for PCS Service Technology platform development and product/offerings innovation fostering a culture of innovation inclusion and customer centricity.
  • Oversee global talent management and organizational structures. Drive program execution and manage a significant budget.
  • Define and develop standard work for PCS product teams and continuously improve engineering processes tools and standard work to equip the team for success.
  • Collaborate with product management and other teams to build technology roadmaps. Ensure customer needs are represented in requirements.
  • Lead design development for advanced technology projects. Guide multi-generational technology strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Manage data and intellectual property strategy.
  • Mentor less experienced engineering leaders. Develop cross-functional relationships to maximize business outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Electronics Biomedical or Computer Engineering.
  • 7 years of design and development experience in medical devices.
  • 5 years of engineering management and program management experience.
  • Expertise in cloud-native distributed computing and IoT technologies; hands-on experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in building and leading globally distributed teams

DESIRED CHARACHTERISTICS

  • Masters Degree in relevant fields.
  • 10 years of progressive service or engineering experience.
  • Proven mentoring and coaching abilities.
  • Experience with Design For Reliability (DFR) or Design For Service (DFS).
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience
  • Direct customer interaction experience and proven ability to drive change and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Experience in systems engineering service engineering and digital solutions.
  • Background in building cloud-native SaaS solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IoT systems and data security.
  • Knowledge of data analysis machine learning and AI integration.
