About the role

The Regional Director leads manages and oversees a portfolio of community associations across a designated region. The Regional Director role requires extensive experience in HOA/Community Association management team leadership financial acumen and a deep understanding of local state and federal regulations affecting community associations. The Regional Director possesses strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills to effectively address the needs and concerns of community members and their team while upholding the standards and policies of the HOA.

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve efficiency profitability and service quality of community association operations.
  • Lead a team of managers administrative staff and support teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure professional growth and development of team members.
  • Oversee the management of multiple community associations ensuring compliance with governing documents rules regulations and applicable laws.
  • Monitor the overall health and success of the communities within the region including property maintenance financial management and community relations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HOA Boards of Directors ensuring regular communication and responsiveness to their needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to community boards providing guidance on governance operational best practices and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements including fair housing laws and local ordinances.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect the interests of the associations and the company.
  • Implement and maintain standardized processes and procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality service delivery across the region.

  • Conduct regular site visits operational audits and performance evaluations.
  • Address escalated homeowner concerns disputes or grievances promptly and professionally.
  • Mediate conflicts between board members homeowners and vendors as necessary.
  • Perform any additional duties within the scope of HOA VP Regional Manager and as assigned by the manager.

Experience

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Licensed (Community Association Manager) required for consideration. License per Florida Statues 468
  • Seven or more years of Community Association Manager (Licensed) experience or related business experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in community management property management or related fields.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with homeowners board members and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in fiscal management budget development and reporting.
  • Advanced Knowledge of HOA regulations compliance issues and governance procedures.
  • Ability to manage conflict resolution and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software is advantageous.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a positive community environment.
