Job Summary

Lead formulation development of silicone and PU-based sealants customized to various end-use applications such as construction joints glazing cladding façade systems etc.

Manage concept-to-commercialization lifecycle for new product development (NPD) including lab trials validation scale-up and manufacturing transfer.

Continuously improve and optimize existing formulations to enhance performance parameters such as adhesion elasticity cure profile shelf-life and environmental compliance.

Identify and validate new raw materials additives and cross-linking agents for improved product efficiency and cost competitiveness.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales Marketing Manufacturing Supply Chain) for application trials product positioning and customer technical support.

Conduct failure analysis root cause diagnosis and corrective action planning for product performance issues in field or production.

Maintain thorough documentation including formulation records technical data sheets (TDS) safety data sheets (SDS) and R&D reports.

Stay abreast of market trends competitor analysis and global benchmarks in sealant technology to drive strategic innovation.

Ensure compliance with regulatory safety and environmental norms for all developed products and lab operations.

Mentor and guide junior scientists and lab team members promoting a culture of innovation and technical rigor.
