What Youll Do
Marine Operations Leadership
- Oversee comprehensive cargo ballast and offloading operations on advanced FPSO systems
- Apply expert knowledge in cargo planning tank preparation loading stowage and discharge operations
- Ensure precise sampling documentation and reporting according to international marine standards
- Develop and implement written operational plans for all cargo management activities
Technical Excellence & Compliance
- Maintain rigorous compliance with international regulations including MARPOL SOLAS ISGOTT and Flag state requirements
- Ensure adherence to critical safety procedures: enclosed space entry hot work lockout/tag out pollution prevention
- Prepare FPSO for regulatory inspections and maintain certification standards
- Detect and resolve challenges in cargo handling systems working with O&M contractor teams
Strategic Operations Management
- Act as second-in-command of FPSO operations when Company Appointed Representative is absent
- Supervise FPSO maintenance department and optimize resource allocation
- Contribute to strategic FPSO planning and operational excellence initiatives
- Manage comprehensive deck department operations aligned with organizational goals
Team Development & Leadership
- Mentor and develop marine/cargo personnel especially those new to offshore operations
- Manage and motivate junior operators and crew to achieve exceptional operational results
- Foster high-performance culture focused on safety efficiency and technical excellence
- Collaborate with FPSO management team on strategic initiatives and continuous improvement

Requirements
Who You Are
- Minimum 10 years sea service aboard ocean-going crude oil or product tanker vessels
- Minimum 3 years experience at Chief Officer rank or equivalent offshore operations
- Proven track record in complex marine operations and team leadership
- Deep understanding of LACT Unit and cargo operations in offshore environments
What You Bring
- HND/ degree in Marine Mechanical Naval Architecture or relevant engineering discipline (minimum Lower Credit/Second Class Lower)
- Certificate of Competency as Deck Officer - Chief Officer license mandatory
- BOSIET/HUET training certification essential for offshore safety compliance
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) for operational reporting
