Job Description
IFS INDUSTRIES a leading manufacturer of adhesives coatings and polymers has an exciting opportunity for a hands-on motivated leader for our Production Supervisor role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing the day-to-day operation quality and safety functions in the department.
- Responsible for the coordination of staffing materials quality control and maintenance to meet expected productivity.
- Maintain operations in compliance with SOPs company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Provide process guidance and technical troubleshooting support to production personnel in order to maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
- Ability to understand and operate manufacturing equipment/process
- Work closely with management staff regarding productivity quality and employee performance.
- Ensure good housekeeping is adhered to and maintained in all work areas.
- Any other duties as they arise.
EXPERIENCE ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
- A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage lead and motivate a team.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA State and Federal employee regulations
- Excellent interpersonal leadership and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel Outlook Word PowerPoint)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must wear appropriate PPE as required. Unrestricted ability to sit stand walk reach stoop kneel crawl climb stairs ladders and balance. Unrestricted ability to use hands and arms. Ability to lift push pull and/or move 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally exposed to fumes airborne particles and a wide range of temperatures. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise level is usually loud. All applicants must successfully pass an interview background check and drug & alcohol screenings.
