The newly established pan-Canadian Integrated Youth Services (IYS) Collaboration Centre has been created to support development implementation and evaluation of IYS practices services and research across Canada. There are emerging or established IYS networks in every province and territory in Canada with close connections to the ACCESS Open Minds Indigenous Youth Mental Health and Wellness Network. IYS networks deliver mental health substance use health primary care education employment housing and other health social and community services to youth aged 12 to 25 years. The IYS model is also characterized by its commitments to equity engagement measurement and continuous learning. IYS youth hubs are in more than 100 communities across Canada and in Ontario are operated by Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario.

Position Description
The pan-Canadian Integrated Youth Services Collaboration Centre (IYS-CC) hosted by CAMH is recruiting an Implementation Specialist to support IYS backbone organizations in Manitoba Nunavut Northwest Territories Ontario and Quebec. This position will report to the IYS-CC Program Manager and can be based anywhere in Canada. The Implementation Specialist will play a key role in supporting deliverables of the IYS-CC to support IYS networks in Central Canada to implement their network backbone structures and learning health system processes guided by implementation science and in collaboration with a diverse team of other implementation specialists and IYS leaders including youth service providers researchers health equity specialists and other partners and advisors.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively across teams and networks to bring specific capacities and expertise in the areas of Implementation Science Quality Improvement change management stakeholder engagement and co-development coaching and system change. The successful candidate will have a strong background in anti-oppressive and anti-racist practice excellent knowledge of equity frameworks and tools and significant experience supporting others to identify prioritize and develop actions that advance meaningful and sustained change and equitable outcomes. The successful candidate will bring expertise and experience in working within IYS and/or backbone organizations that support youth mental health.

The IYS Collaboration Centre hosted by CAMH supports a healthy workplace that embraces diversity encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable standards and requirements.
The successful candidate will possess a Masters degree in the field of social work counselling psychology public health or a related health or social service discipline (required). Successful candidate will have at least three (3) years experience in the field of health promotion/prevention community health and/or mental health and substance use services or other related health services with a focus on youth mental health implementation.
Other Skills:
Travel throughout Central Canada (more frequent) and to other parts of Canada (less frequent) will be required.
