Job Description

First-Line Manufacturing Manager (767 Wings)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for First-Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support the 767 Wings team in Everett Washington on 1st 2nd and/or 3rd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

  • Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes

  • Manages develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience in Aerospace Fabrication or manufacturing environment

  • 3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • 3 years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques

  • 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Willing and able to work any shift (may be selected for 1st 2nd or 3rd shift)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1 years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety Quality Delivery Cost and Manufacturing data

  • 1 years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)

  • 1 years of experience in aircraft structures manufacturing process (preferably wings)

  • 1 years of experience with REDARS

  • Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles

Drug Free Workplace:

Shift:

Summary pay range: $112900 - $137500
